At home, you’ll usually find me making one too many cups of coffee, saying yes to sushi without hesitation, and spending time with my high school sweetheart turned husband and our two cats, who keep things equally cozy and chaotic. I’m always up for travel and new experiences, whether that’s a spontaneous weekend trip or an adventure somewhere new. I carry that same sense of curiosity and calm into everything I photograph. 

Hi, I’m Faith, an Oregon wedding and couples photographer. My work is centered on creating space for real connection so your photos feel honest, calm, and true to you.  When I’m not behind the lens, life looks a little slower. I grew up on the Oregon coast in Florence and still find myself drawn back there whenever I can, even though Corvallis has truly become home. These days, I love exploring local trails, settling into quiet routines, and appreciating the season I’m in, especially when spring rolls around and everything feels fresh again.

The story behind my work 

Because I know how important these moments really are.

My love for photography began toward the end of high school, when I started noticing how light met the coastline, how people laughed when they forgot the camera was there, and the subtle emotions that filled everyday interactions. But the deeper pull came from a more personal place.

Two years before I ever held a camera with intention, I lost my dad unexpectedly. He was the most creative person I knew. Always writing, imagining, and dreaming, but he never gave himself the chance to fully pursue those passions. After we lost him, life felt uncertain. Picking up a camera became the first thing that made me feel grounded again. It gave me purpose, presence, and a way to hold onto moments that would otherwise pass too quickly.

During that season, I realized how few photos we had together and how fragile our memories felt without them. That changed everything for me. Photography, for me, is not about documenting what something looked like. It is about preserving what it felt like. It is about memory, emotion, and the moments that matter long after the day has passed.

That is why I approach your day with so much care, knowing how much these moments will come to mean.
